Barrow Boy Statue unveiled

Our Barrow boy statue which has been created by talented local sculptor Stephen Carvill was unveiled on Bridlington Railway station on Thursday 25th July.

The statue which is was cast in bronze at Powderhall Bronze Foundry, Edinburgh commemorates the children who used to work as barrow boys and girls in the past at many seaside resorts, transporting passengers luggage to and from their hotels.
